Our Pastor Teacher

Larry Hofmann graduated from Prarie Bible College in 1969. He spent his first ten years of professional ministry in Brookings, Oregon under the leadership and pastoral training of Rev. Ralph Braun. During this time he studied Bible Doctrines as well as the original languages of Greek and Hebrew.

Later, Pastor Larry served at Grace Bible Church in Prescott, Arizona, and after three years came to West Side Bible Church to serve as Assistant Pastor to Pastor John Miller. He continued his ministry at West Side until 1990, when he accepted the pastorate at Grace Believers Church in Tama/Toledo, Iowa.

When Pastor Miller, West Side’s shepherd for more than30 years, went to be with the Lord in 2001, Pastor Hofmann and his wife Kathleen accepted God’s second call to Arizona, where he succeeded Pastor Miller as West Side Bible Church’s new shepherd.

Pastor Larry and Kathleen were married in 1969. They have one son David and two grandchildren.

Board of Deacons

West Side uses a Board of Deacons to assist the Pastor with the administrative duties of ministry. Currently this staff includes:

 Mark Crigler, Chairman

Mark has been a member of West Side since 1969 and currently serves as Chairman. His responsibilites include West Side’s Electronic Ministries.

Glenn Ensor, Secretary

Glenn joined West Side in 1971 and is serving as Secretary. His responsibilities include Buildings and Security.
